Getting Started
Let's run through the basics
Who can participate?
Lorikeet partners with full-time (40+ hours per week) drivers that participate in approved driving programs (rideshare, delivery, taxi, etc.).
Can I do this anywhere?
Lorikeet operates in Sydney, with most opportunities in metropolitan areas.
What are the benefits for drivers?
Drivers earn an extra $500 per month for the time they already spend on the road!
Do drivers have to pay anything?
There are no fees to participate. Lorikeet provides all equipment to the driver at no cost. All equipment must be returned in great condition at the end of the driver’s tenure in the program.
Where do I sign up?
Complete out the contact form below to be notified as soon as there are opportunities in your area!
Can I buy a display for personal/business use?
Sorry, all equipment is property of Lorikeet and not for sale or rent.

What are the vehicle requirements?
Vehicles must be from 2011 or newer, in great working condition and without cosmetic damage. A vehicle must be compatible with roof racks that securely mount the display to the vehicle’s roof.
What do I need to do during the qualification process?
Drivers need to provide evidence of their driving hours per month to be approved.
How long does it take to get approved?
Wait time for approval varies depending on a number of factors, including order of the waitlist, campaign requirements and equipment availability. It’s typically a minimum of 2 weeks before a driver can be approved.

Driving
Let's look at earning on-the-fly
How much do I get paid and how often?
Payment is based on your monthly driving hours. Payments are made monthly via RCTI direct deposits. For more detail on payment amounts and schedules, please review the Terms & Conditions. Currently, all drivers meeting the requirements earn $500 per month.
Can I make more?
Yes, there are additional income opportunities, such as vehicle photoshoots and ‘Flocks’ (special driving events)! Also, if you drive with Lorikeet for 12 months, you will receive a $500 cash bonus!
How do you track my driving hours?
Our displays are GPS-enabled to track your drive time.
Can I go through the car wash?
Drivers with digital displays must not use car washes to prevent damage to the smart screen caused by overhead brushes, rollers, etc. Drivers should wash their car by hand; when washing by hand please do not spray directly at the screen — water pressure can damage the LEDs in the screen.
Any other requirements?
Lorikeet may reach out to you via call, text or email if the display is malfunctioning or requires an update. You must be extremely responsive to these communications and bring your vehicle in for a scheduled appointment. Failure to do so in a timely manner will affect the display’s time-tracking capability and, thus, your payment.
Do I have to keep the display for a certain amount of time?
There is no required duration for the display, however if you want to uninstall the unit within 12 months, Lorikeet will retain your security deposit to pay for the uninstall.
Can I uninstall the display myself?
No, all Lorikeet equipment must be securely mounted and removed by our team of professional technicians. In the event that you remove the equipment, you would be responsible for any damaged or lost Lorikeet equipment and any damage to your vehicle.
How do I return the display?
Please contact Lorikeet via phone or email to schedule a removal appointment.
What do I do if I have any questions or issues?
Lorikeet has an open door policy for all drivers and want to support them in their ride-share journey, Drivers can contact Lorikeet at any time with issues or questions via phone or email.
